Impromptu Hiatus

I know it has been a while. I have been super busy with a lot of real life things going on. I won't go into details, but my husband's family could definitely use prayers and positive energy. Slowly but surely things are getting back to normal, so I can be on more and actually be around when I'm on lol.

I haven't really been up to much though. Changing the decor in my home a little. Celebrating the fact that my Princess is a little genius! I cleared her wishlist and sent her 30k for her last report card. Bri makes me so proud, I swear.

Oh! I had to get an alarm system installed into my home last week. There have been some break-ins in the neighborhood and I figure better safe than sorry. I tried to get one of those Ring smart home security systems, but they aren't available in my are yet. As soon as they are though I'm snatching one up! It's a shame that people can't even feel safe in their homes. I have honestly been thinking about enrolling in a concealed carry class because I am on my own a lot. I am always thinking about mine and my family's safety... as a Black woman, how can I not?

Sooooo, I want to go on a cruise. I don't know how I'm going to make this work out but I have my eye on a one week cruise to Rio de Janeiro. Definitely going to see what I can work out because I'm in need of a change of scenery. I've been having a lot on my mind lately and I know a beautiful sun-filled beach is what I need to melt some stress away. I just need a getaway.

There's nothing I can't accomplish with my planner.
