Slow Down

So hubby and I received some heartbreaking news yesterday. I needed to clear my head so I can be there for my family. Retail therapy helped a little. It took me forever just to get myself together to get ready to leave the house. My head was in a fog, full of sadness and worry. The mind fog cleared enough for me to catch the bus to a private boutique. I honestly love it when I have the place to myself and am just able to zone out and shop in peace. Chrissy, the cashier, always lets me know when the boutique is having a sale. The best customer service ever!

Getting out of the house and being able to talk to my circle helped a lot more, though. I got to meet my favorite creator, TRUEGODDESSEYES!!! Y'all just don't know how in awe of this woman I am. No one's natural hair textures are better than her's. There are only a handful of creators that even attempt to do natural hair styles. TRUEGODDESSEYES and Thymless are the only ones who create them consistently and well. TRUEGODDESSEYES is a phenomenal woman inside and out.

I got to see my sissy as well!!! It has been forever since the last time we got to hang and it felt great catching up with her. We have both been busy and ducked off, but it's understandable. Plus, we always pick up where we left off. Sissy took me to this bomb ass rooftop sushi restaurant. We ended the night taking pics with some ladies who stopped by. It was nice.
