Early yesterday evening, I was just piddling around not really doing anything. I wanted to get out of the house so I stopped by my office to do some tidying up. Admiring my handiwork and patting myself on the back for doing something I've been putting off for a week (LOL), I decided to treat myself. What to do though?
Sissy Ink3dSoul told me about her favorite nail salon awhile back, but I just never had a chance to go. A Sister's Touch Beauty Bar is now may favorite salon too! MrsDavis2U, owner, is an absolute sweetheart. There were two clients ahead of me so while I waited for an available nail tech, I was told to help myself to some wine and cheese. Heaven! KitMelan ended up being my nail tech for the night. Kit was wonderful, like I just love her whole personality. She asked me about the type of nails I like and I told her something long and colorful. Kit suggested ombré stiletto nails so of course I was sold.
Overall I had a wonderful experience at A Sister's Touch. The atmosphere is relaxing and upscale, plus their service is impeccable. I will definitely start making weekly visits and support a fellow Black woman's small business.
