My style

Funky Dineva has a great point. I have never been a label whore and I don't even consider myself a fashionista. Like, I just like looking cute lol. I so appreciate the IMVU creators that don't focus solely on virtual versions of real life high end stuff. That's why I love to support creators like Lyxxs and Melomanie because their brands are their own. Besides, only a handful of the high end pieces actually look like something someone would wear (Vixtee definitely outshines most when it comes to her bags). Most of the Gucci, Fendi, etc looks like swap meet leftovers and I just cannot.

First and foremost, I want to look like the grown ass woman I am and not some young ass Instagram model. That alone cuts out most creators for me. Vu is mainly a young person's place, so I get it. I love being able to mix and match pieces, so I rarely buy full outfits. Yalla just put out some NICE ass snakeskin print pants, but the top she made to go with them is a little young for me. Melomanie to the rescue lol.

Once I find a creator I like, I snatch everything I can from their catalog that strikes my fancy. I certainly have my go-to's, like MissC for shoes and some accessories. Finding creators that compliment my taste can be difficult sometimes however, I'm in shop all the time so it ain't that much of a hassle. I am like the perfect shopping buddy lol, cuz I don't mind helping people look for stuff. Not on a personal shopper level but if you ever can't find something in shop, hit me up. If I can't find it, it's probably a custom not meant to be sold lol.

I dislike trends. Lol, my son calls me boujee and in some respects I totally am. If everybody has it I don't want it. There was a hairstyle I wanted a few days back. I didn't want it right then so I added it to my wishlist. Then I started seeing everybody and their mama in it so I deleted it from my wishlist. I tend to stay away from popular creators for that reason because I don't want to be a carbon copy of anybody.
